The Wilson DT (Desktop) Booster Kit is ideal to boost the signal for a small area (e.g. an office desk) in an RV, Travel Trailer or your home. There is a desktop antenna which will pick up and boost voice and data signals on or near the desk (e.g. a cell phone and an data card / air card / MiFi card). The amplifier then sends the boosted signal to the outside antenna that can be mounted via suction cups to a window or ideally outside.

You need to bear in mind that Wilson recommends a minimum separation of 20 feet between the desktop and outdoor antenna.  Therefore, if you are using this in an RV or Travel Trailer, you will want to mount the antenna at the other end of the rig. Also note that the outside antenna is bi-directional (180 degrees) which means that you may need to change it's orientation if you do not get a good signal. More practically, you may want to upgrade to an omni-directional (picks up a signal from any direction) trucker antenna (see accessories).
