Tires are the foundation of your home while on the road. That’s why tire pressure maintenance is essential for all RVers.
The VIAIR 450P-RVS Automatic 12-volt portable tire inflator is for use with Class A RVs. The 100% duty cycle is the ONLY tire inflator on the market capable of reaching pressure up to 130 PSI and can be operated for up to 40 minutes at a time before needing to rest.
This essential tire inflator features a newly revised 40” 90-degree twist on chuck to make it easier to fill tires while standing. The 450P-RVS will inflate most Class A RV tires from 80 to 90 PSI in just 50 seconds.
The “RVS” line is designated as “RV-Safe” because they are specifically designed and tested for the RV market. Having this indispensable tire inflator in your RV at all times will prevent wasted time locating the nearest gas station and reduces your risk being stuck on the side of the road.
How to use: To use this compressor, simply attach the heavy-duty battery clamps to the RV’s battery and start the engine. Connect the tire chuck to a tire valve stem and turn the unit on. The 450P-RVS comes with a close-ended gas station-style air gun for added convenience. Each tire inflator comes equipped with hoses long enough to reach your RV tires, a convenient carry bag, and all necessary components.
Portable compressors with automatic shutoff provide an auto stop/start function similar to newer vehicles turn off when at a stop. This feature comes into play when moving from tire to tire, and when checking tire pressure in the middle of a tire fill. A typical portable compressor must be turned off between tire fills, and anytime you want to check tire pressure. If you aren’t near the compressor, this can turn into going back and forth from the tire to the portable compressor to turn the unit on and off. Automatic portables will save you time & effort to get tires inflated quickly. Comes with a 1 year warranty.

Going to roll fulltime in a Class A motorhome. Needed something better than my old 6 gallon pancake compressor & bucket of hoses. Purchased the Viair 450 RVS to easily push 120psi into the tires. The unit is lighter, clips to either the RV or Jeep battery with enough coiled tubing to reach each tire. Planning to add the digital readout pistol to the arsenal in the future. Will check with TechnoRV at that time. Great product.
I bought this to fill tires on a 40 foot diesel pusher with large tires. Having purchased a tire pressure monitoring system, the light bulb moment was figuring out what to do if the pressure was low, This solves that problem very nicely. The item is well packaged and the carrying case is large enough to fit everything back in when done.
I had 2 issues when using this. The first is that if you don't identify properly which of the two air hoses must be connected to the air compressor, you are in for some head scratching. The labels are a bit misleading but one more clearly identifies the proper air hose. My second problem was that the air hoses didn't easily seat into the connection. I am hoping that with time and use, it will get easier.
Filling the tires was a breeze. It was very quick and not very noisy. The automatic shut off is a nice feature. Also, the included air pressure gauge was within one pound of a digital gauge that I used to check it with. As pointed out in the video, if you are connected to shore power, you can connect to the house batteries and don't need to run the RV.
I have a 125lb. psi Craftsman 5 gal compressor, but it doesn’t push enough pressure to fill a 19.5” tire to 95 psi.
I think I must’ve been TechRV’s first sale of the ViAir 450P-RVS. I heard about it at the annual Escapees Rally, Escapade59 in Tucson and was waiting for TechnoRV to offer it.
It is awesome. I was going to time how long it would take to fill a tire, but it was so quick that I forgot to check how long it took. It wasn’t long enough to even be concerned. Within a few mins. I had all 6 tires within 1 lb. of each other and just the right pressure required for my rig’s weight.
By the way, in case you don’t know...Most gas stations don’t have the equipment needed to fill your tires either.
Man, this little compressor is an animal!
While I only have a fifth wheel, I decided to go with this unit because I pull my trailer with a dually and I wanted to be able to air my rears with the chuck this unit provides. Glad I did!
Thank you TechnoRV for providing a great product at a great price!
