If you want a better cellular experience while on the road then you need a cellular booster that is powerful on both transmitting and receiving the signal. The WeBoost 4G-X is that unit as it has 50 dB gain on the receive side (the most allowed by the FCC in a unit like this), and it has 29 dBm upload strength, which is a lot of power. The upload strength of this unit is what sets it apart. If you have good receiving signal, but you struggle with the transmission of the signal, then your experience can suffer. The 4G-X has you covered on both sides of the equation, and this unit can provide boost to as many as 4 devices at one time. This unit is easy to install, and TechnoRV also offers accessories to this unit if you would like a different inside antenna, or maybe you need an AC power supply. Check out all of our accessories and let us know if you have any questions.
This kit includes the outside magnetic mount antenna, the amplifier, a flat bar inside antenna, and a DC power supply (cigarette lighter style).
- Extends signal range up to 60% farther than similar boosters
- Stronger cell signal in your vehicle or RV
- Fewer dropped calls & lost connections
- Faster data downloads
- Longer battery life up to 2 hours more talk time
- Boosts voice & data signals
- Works with all cellular carriers
- All needed components included in kit
- Works with all smartphones & mobile hot spots
- Simple installation
Simply plug the adapter into a wall outlet, position the indoor antenna near your phone or data card, and position the outdoor antenna on top of your RV. The magnetic mount antenna needs to be on at least an 8-inch by 8-inch metal plate. This is called a grounding plane and works with the design of the antenna. Since most RVs do not have metal roofs you can install a metal plate, or put one up temporarily when you get to your location (a cookie sheet can work fine for a temporary solution).

Directions made it easy to install to our external trucker antenna. Look forward to using it this winter in Florida and next summer in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where reception is not very good.
