Product Description
This is the newest version of the Alfa repeater called the R36A. This is the upgrade to the previous R36 model. The R36A has been updated to include easier set up, and faster throughput speeds. If you are using the R36 with a Alfa Desktop Booster (Green Model, not the grey or white model), or the External Booster Tube, then you can upgrade to this newer model. The R36A also works with any of the current boosters that we sell on TechnoRV.
One of the problems of using a WiFi booster without a repeater is that you need to connect the booster to your computer via a USB cable. This means that you can only use one computer with the boosted signal, and you cannot use it with your iPad, tablet or smartphone, until now!
Simply plug your TechnoRV Desktop WiFi Booster or External WiFi Booster into the R36A Repeater. Once configured, any number of devices can wirelessly connect to your R36A and gain access to the internet via the boosted WiFi signal.
Remember, if you purchase from us, we will also send you the TechnoRV Learning Series with step-by-step instructions on configuring the system.
Important Note
The R36A repeater requires a separate WiFi booster to connect to the internet. It will NOT connect to WiFi or the internet without a booster (sold separately). The R36A includes a power supply and a 5 dBi antenna.
The R36A can be password protected and is fully WPA2 encrypted

WiFi USB Repeater
My only really big complaint about the repeater is that the instructions that come with it are all but totally useless. I called Techno RV for assistance and the girl could not help me much, but she referred my to Jason at Rokland LLC who was absolutely great. After sending me a very good set of help notes, he had me set up a phone session with him the next day and helped me optimize the system. He also sent me more advanced set up instructions which have proved invaluable.

Fantastic product
We purchased our first Class A Coach a few months ago and found that the WiFi signal in most of the parks has a lot to be desired. So like all good inquisitive RV’s I went to the internet and started to search for a solution and found TechnoRV on YouTube. We ordered their High Power Desktop WiFi Booster and there WiFi USB Repeater and tried it our in two different parks where there were weak signals. I have to tell you we are nothing short of amazed at the way it boosts the signal and how easy it is for us old folks to set it up and use it. I would recommend this solution to anyone!!!

Wifi USB Repeater
So far so good! Instructions worked great on our first stop. We are traveling for about 6 weeks and look forward to being able to connect at each stop. Watched a movie on Netflix tonight on our own "hotspot". Did not have to use the yagi antenna yet. Hopefully if we do it will work as easily!
